Overview

Production Supervisor x 2 Our chosen business partner is experiencing a steady period of growth this quarter and they are looking at finding two Production Supervisors – one full time and one interim (4 month). The company are a lead food manufacturer for all the major supermarkets. Although they are extremely profitable and investing heavily in their CAPEX projects they have still kept that family feel. Key Responsibilities; Help others to understand the business strategy for the future. Look outside to seek inspiration from customers, suppliers, competitors and the market. Plan effectively and implement with speed and efficiency. Be prepared to make and be accountable for difficult decisions. Challenge the status- quo, but respect the Company’s past. Set and achieve inspirational goals that are, at the same time, realistic. Create a sense of urgency. Go out of their way to help their colleagues. Ask others for their opinion and listen to their ideas. Be prepared to receive and act upon feedback from a colleague. Give constructive, timely and straightforward feedback. Key Requirements; 3 years experience in a supervisory/managerial position. Worked in a high care food manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of HACCP. Has delivered process improvement. Experience assisting with audits ie BRC, supplier audits. Able to conduct risk assessments. Experience of the M3 ERP system. Used to driving OEE. Experience developing a high-performing team. Package; £28,000 to £33,000 doe. D ays only and have every other weekend off. Holiday is 31 days including bank holidays. Pension is 5% employee and 5% employer – with company matching up to 8% Life insurance is 1 x salary if not in the pension and 2 x salary if you are Sick pay is SSP until pass probationary, then get 4 weeks full pay (1 st 2 days are waiting days at SSP) until reach 2 years and then increases by a week per year after until you reach a max of 20. There is a bonus of up to £400 based on achieving different targets.
