Overview
I Care, You Care, We Care, New Care At Ruddington Manor Care Centre, Wilford, Nottingham we are seeking to appoint a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistants to join our team, due to increasing occupancy and the success of our home. We are looking for motivated Housekeepers who will ensure that the standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, is maintained to the highest level and within the Newcare specification. We have a 30 hours contract available. Shift times are 0800-1600 with weekend working. Role Responsibilities: ·Tidying and cleaning residents’ rooms, furnishings and carpets ·To assist with laundry during busy periods such as holidays and sickness ·Tidying and cleaning communal areas ·Regularly cleaning and monitoring the cleanliness of the communal toilets/bathrooms ·Ensuring that all toilets/bathrooms and restaurant areas are kept well stocked with toilet rolls, liquid hand soap and paper hand towels ·Remove any trays or crockery left in rooms from previous meal times ·Following cleaning schedules as delegated by the Head Housekeeper ·To assist with other tasks necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the home as directed by the Line Manager.
