Overview

Our client, a fast growing and hugely successful business in the technology sector are seeking and HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Due to continued expansion, this is a newly-created position that will see the successful candidate work in a standalone role, being the primary point of contact for employees within the business for any HR related queries, reporting to the Technical Director along with the firm’s specialised external HR Consultant. The ideal candidate should have already attained their CIPD to level 3 / 5, have previous experience in a generalist role and a thorough understanding of HR processes and policies. Key Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for all employees for any HR-related queries Issuing and amending offer letters, contracts of employment and contractual variations Assist with all recruitment campaigns (both agency and direct) Oversee the onboarding process for new staff Work with stakeholders and Directors in order to assist in business plans moving forward Be responsible for reviewing and altering company HR policies and procedures Manage holiday entitlements, liaise with Operations and Accounting to ensure CSP and SSP are being applied correctly with particular regard to self-certifications and Fitness to Return to Work Certificates. (Accounts will manage actual payments) Identify when Well-Being meetings are required and conduct those meetings accordingly Continually liaise with all departments to ensure their staffing, skills and training requirements are being correctly identified and met Oversee the offboarding process for leavers This is a great opportunity for someone who is either looking to make the step into a Managerial position, or someone who is looking to work in a standalone role whereby you will be the focal point for all HR-related matters within a successful and growing business. The ideal candidate will preferably come from a generalist role, where you would have gained experience in all areas of HR and be used to dealing directly with employee issues and concerns. You will be a good communicator with the ability to liaise with members of staff of all levels, whilst being confident and capable of working independently in a standalone role.
