Overview
Our Wiltshire based client is looking for an experienced HR Officer / HR Advisor to join their team and provide efficient and effective HR support to employees and managers across the business. The role will offer advice, guidance and coaching to managers across all aspects of HR; reporting into the HR Manager duties will include: Acting as the first point of contact for general HR queries, advising managers and employees on how to deal with HR issues, policies and employment law Overseeing the probation process and dealing with employee relations issues such as maternity/paternity, disciplinaries and grievances Managing all sickness absences related queries, escalating as required Developing and delivering management workshops on a range of ER matters Conducting monthly HR surgeries with managers Supporting HR Manager with the implementation of recruitment policies and procedures and interviewing and selection Administering recruitment systems and databases Producing and sending out offers of employment for supervisory and management appointments Ensuring exit interviews are conducted and trends analysed Implementing processes and administrative systems Supporting HR Administrator in implementing employee changes on HR system liaising with payroll as required Managing and maintaining the HR information system Supporting the annual review pay review and bonus processes Assisting with the production of management reports and statistics Undertaking HR project work Person Specification CIPD Level 3 qualified Experience of providing HR advice to colleagues at all levels Experience of working with HRIS and producing reports Strong employment law knowledge Passionate about providing excellent customer service Previous employee relations experience including disciplinaries and grievances Strong communication skills Excellent IT skills
