Are you looking for your 2nd job in finance want to work in a varied accounting role with exposure and progression to assistant with management accounts? Independent marketing agency based in very cool offices in Central London are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to support their Finance Director. You'll have first hand training from a qualified accountant that will help you with learning your role as well as support you with your AAT/CIMA/ACCA studies. This is a fabulous opportunity for candidates looking for next step in their accounting career, at the same time happy to help out with some of the admin as everyone does when working for SME business. The Role Raising orders, processing supplier invoices/staff expenses, reconciling against supplier statements, bi- monthly payment run Finalising sales invoices, raising credit notes, distributing client invoices and statements, chasing outstanding debts and reconciling aged debtors Bank reconciliations and petty cash Forecasting monthly cash inflows and outflows Job profit reviews, monitoring budget spend to identify invoicing needs, chasing client POs, time reporting Assisting in completion of monthly Management Accounts, preparing accruals/prepayments Completion and submission of quarterly VAT return Assisting in the annual audit and liaising with accountants when required Supporting the FD in completion of budgets and monthly forecasting Supporting the HR Director half a day a week with various task The role is very varied, and you will be supporting some key senior individuals within the agency and therefore the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a flexible 'can do' attitude, be organised, professional, conscientious and possess good time management, interpersonal and communication skills . In addition we seek an individual that will be a team player, and can demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
