Overview
Responsible for bookkeeping for unique company based in Edinburgh City Centre Client Details Well established family owned business Description Processing on Sage all routine book-keeping Reconciling all bank and other accounts, including foreign currency accounts Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual accounts (including year end accruals) VAT returns, EC Sales Lists. Alcoholic Ingredient Relief Claims Completion of occasional government statistical surveys (including the US FDA return) Checking customer payments and chasing debts as needed Preparing payment run and list for director's approval; processing payments to suppliers Assisting management with product costing and preparing other financial information as requested Administrative tasks as required, updating databases, answering phones Occasionally providing holiday cover for two administrators in the office, which would preferably mean full time/5 days per week for which extra pay would be given or time off in lieu.
