Overview
A world renowned company headquartered in Ireland are currently looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer to their team in Ireland within their creativity and productivity unit. If you are passionate about being on the full life cycle of making products from Design to manufacturing then this is the position for you You will be part of a team building technology blocks in the strategic front end through to the product development and production. This is a 1 year FTC position. As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be tasked with: Design, analysis, verification and documentation to test new technologies and bring them into the next generation of products. Partner with external suppliers to bring the new products to life. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to identify gaps in the market for new products. It is essential that the successful Embedded Software Engineer has the following skills: 5 years in an Embedded Software Engineering role with product development Extensive knowledge of Embedded Software and the ability to write optimized firmware in microcontrollers (C or C++) Qualified to BEng (Hons) or MEng level in either Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering Experience in ARM Cortex-M Series and Python Working knowledge of Electronic including conception, design and validation In return for having the above skills my client are willing to offer the right Embedded Software Engineer: Competitive salary between €80,000 - 90,000 Pension contribution Share plan Discounts on products up to 50% including 35% off for friends and family 33 days annual leave Life insurance We aim to respond to suitable candidates within 5 working days.
