Overview

The National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) leads the UK’s fight against cybercrime and uses specialist capabilities and expertise to support law enforcement partners across the UK and coordinate the entire UK response to cybercrime. Working collaboratively as a unit, our teams work with partners and wider NCA to understand the growing use of cyber as an enabler of crime types. This enables us to determine the most effective way of tackling the growing threat. Sitting at the heart of the National Cyber Crime Unit’s Senior Leadership team, this is a high profile role which provides an unequaled opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the agency. The role involves national leadership in a high-profile threat area, with management of large teams. Job description Key Responsibilities This multi-discipline role leads on the Agency’s cyber intelligence resources to transform the way the Agency collects, amalgamates and disseminates intelligence on key cyber threats. • You will be a proven leader who is able to demonstrate leading high performing teams across organisational boundaries. • You will support wider law enforcement and international partners in tackling the top cyber threats hitting the UK. • Leading the NCA’s cyber crime “4 P” (Prepare, Prevent, Protect and Pursue) response function, you will work with partners to co-ordinate the UK’s entire Law Enforcement response to cyber crime. • You will have knowledge and understanding of the UK law enforcement landscape, serious and organised cyber crime and have wide-ranging experience of senior level engagement across public and / or private sector. • You will take the senior leadership teams mission and translate this into tangible outcomes using your experience, knowledge and operational credibility.
