Electrical Design Engineer - London - To £42,500 Package Tired of working crazy hours? Whilst a lot of building services consultancies claim to have a great work / life balance and a positive working environment, they make their engineers regularly work 45 - 55 hours per week and then wonder why they can't retain staff It's obvious this consultancy takes employee well-being seriously as they have just won "CIBSE Employer of the year", retain their "Good Employers" and "Investors in People" accreditations and operate a 35 hour week. Although it will probably feel strange leaving the office at 5pm, once you start remembering what a work /life balance is and have the time and energy to pursue other interest after work you'll wish you had made the move ages ago. As they remain privately owned and run by engineers and not accountants or investors, they take pride in the quality of the projects they design and deliver. You'll enjoy designing electrical building services on a range of challenging projects across all stages of a project lifecycle (typically RIBA Stage 1 - 4) and also develop your awareness of other disciplines such as HVAC, PH and BIM. What you'll need Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering and previous experience using Amtech, Dialux or Relux. Previous commercial office, healthcare, hotel or residential project experience. At least three years' experience in a similar role.
