Overview
Accounts Assistant Role based in Central London working for a Media business - circa £25k Your new company You will be working for one of London's leading Media businesses based in the heart of the city. This company is highly established and experiencing growth, currently involved in a number of exciting projects. The have a professional working environment but also have dress down Fridays and social atmosphere. Your new role You will be working as the Accounts Assistant, reporting in to the Finance Controller. This is a progressive role with plenty of opportunities to develop your skill set. The business is seeking someone who is going to add value to the organisation. Your duties will include: Assisting with month end duties VAT work Payroll: payments and journals Maintaining various spreadsheets Tracking costing Processing invoices (purchase and sales ledger) Supplier statement reconciliations What you'll need to succeed You must have at least 2 years experience working a similar role. Ideally you will have worked in the Media sector and have a degree qualification. You should be confident with clear communication skills. To be successful in this role you will have to be hungry to learn and be pro-active in the position.
