We are hiring We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join the Abergavenny Factory on a permanent basis. We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. Hours: Tuesday - Thursday: 1430 - 2300 Friday: 1230 - 2100 Saturday: 0800 - 1630 Hourly Rate: £10.35 per hour plus shift premium Purpose of the role: As a member of the Technical team, the Quality Auditor will ensure product safety, quality and legality through effective HACCP and Quality Systems. As a key player of the QA Team, you’ll help ensure that products and processes meet customer specifications and expectations within a fast moving, short shelf life environment. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring that food materials dispatched are safe, legal and the quality expected by both the business and the retailer. Completing calibration, maintaining GMP standards and ensuring traceability is fully maintained Monitoring and auditing Production Operations across all areas, ensuring that customer requirements are understood and achieved. Completing audit schedules and raising non-conformances, ensuring that they are closed out in a timely manner. Ensuring all product standards are available and up to date, and providing effective document verification and control. Organising product trials/test and providing full reports. What we are looking for: Experience of working within a production environment, ideally in a food environment. Good understanding of Quality Assurance. Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification with HACCP Level 3 or above. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.
