Overview
Planning Technician (Apprentice) Southampton £15,000 - £18,000 The Planning Technician Apprentice provides key administrative support to the planning team by aiding in the appraisal of sites, researching policy, assisting with the making of planning applications, printing, filing and sketch scheme suggestions, assisting with planning process management as well as compliance within the organisation. The Planning Technician Apprentice will successfully complete the Town Planning Technical Support Apprenticeship as approved and developed by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) over a two year course. The post holder is a key member of the Planning Department and will ensure that they align their job role with departmental strategies and changing business dynamics or goals of the Group. In addition, to develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to solicit feedback that delivers continuous improvement throughout the business. About you: • Good attitude, and a willingness to learn planning processes, laws and regulations in relation to planning approval. • Excellent Administration experience • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues effectively • Good Communication Skills – both oral and written • An all-round appreciation of general company and regulatory requirements and processes For more information please contact Donna Crook at Reed.
