Overview
Are you a Civils Site Agent interested in joining a tier 1 contractor on a long term framework in Hampshire. Does working for a privately owned contractor offering contracting services across a range of sectors including highways, building, environment and marine sound of interest? This is a well-funded multi billion pound contractor with five years of interesting coastal work in the Solent. You will be working within the specialist marine civil engineering division supporting a Senior Project Manager initially with ECI works leading into a number of phases of coastal defence works throughout the Solent. You will ideally have prior main contractor experience within a marine/environmental framework environment of heavy civils, sea or coastal defence, rock armour or comparable civil engineering techniques. Your duties will include; Developing the works program alongside the SPM. Working closely with the framework partners throughout ECI phases Overseeing all engineering activities when schemes reach site. Taking responsibility for Health & Safety regulations, producing RAMS and deputising for the Project Manager. Close working with the senior management and commercial teams. Given the size and variety of sectors and opportunities within this contractor you need look no further for challenge, role satisfaction and career development. Qualifications and skills considered ideal for this position are an ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent, SMSTS, CSCS, prior experience ideally working on similar projects, and a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
