Senior Java Developer Up to £60,000 G1 An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join an ambitious start up in Glasgow. A Senior Developer in this type of business will enjoy mentoring and coaching others, whilst remaining technically hands on and leading from the front. You will own projects and be the lead on these regularly. Within the technical aspect of the role you will design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications. You will take part in the whole product lifecycle. Continuous improvements will play a huge part in the businesses ongoing success which means forward thinking and problem-solving capabilities will always be welcomed. From a technical perspective the business use, though are not limited to the following technologies: · Core Java and J2EE frameworks. · RESTful services in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). · Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate. · enterprise Java/J2EE, Spark, NoSQL, In-Memory Databases such as Redis, messaging, stream processing. · SOLID principles The CTO is very open when it comes to technical input and values input from Developers of all levels to contribute to new technologies and services that will add enhancements to the product.
