Overview
Business Intelligence Developer - SQL, Power BI, SAS, Azure, ETL. Birmingham City Centre - £40,000 - £45,000 Part-remote working and fantastic benefits package. A solution-orientated Business Intelligence Developer with great leadership and stakeholder management skills is sought by a leading financial organisation to design and implement Business Intelligence Solutions. You will use your prior experience in Business Intelligence to lead the improvement of Business Intelligence practice throughout the company with the purpose of extracting truly valuable insights from company data and driving informed decisions moving forward. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will have strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate technical ideas to lay audiences. Where needed, you will take on mentoring of junior employees to educate them on Business Intelligence concepts and procedures. Collaboration with the analytics team will be imperative to successful development of efficient Business Intelligence practices. The successful Business Intelligence Developer will ideally have: Experience utilising Business Intelligence and creating reports and dashboarding solutions to effectively visualise data in an engaging way - Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS and SQL. Proven experience with SQL Server. Experience with Dimensional Data Modelling. A background in ETL processing. Knowledge of SAS for Data Analysis. Experience of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. Competency working in a Microsoft Azure environment. Experience within the financial industry is a bonus.
