Procurement & Contracts Manager Role - Procurement, Contract Management & Spend Analysis Your new company Hays are working exclusively with one of the South East's leading housing providers who manage 15,000 homes. Their main objective is to provide affordable homes to those who need them the most. Their recent G1,V1 rating from the Regulator means they meet all governance requirements and have the financial capacity to deal with a wide range of adverse scenarios. Your new role To support the procurement and contract management process within the organisation, initially for Construction & Development and Property Repairs & Maintenance. The role will also support the Head of Procurement in the implementation of a Contract and Supplier Relationship Management Standard, creating the platform to be a more intelligent client. What you'll need to succeed Significant and extensive procurement experience, ideally gained within construction, property or facilities management industries Demonstrable experience of supplier selection, negotiation and complex contract management, delivering cost and saving targets Working knowledge of JCT forms of construction and maintenance contracts would be beneficial, especially the Minor Works Contract, Intermediate Contract and the Design & Build Contract An experienced commercial approach to managing contracts and relationships with third parties Proven track record of developing and maintaining senior stakeholder and supplier relationships Leading people and teams What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join a large public sector organisation on a permanent basis.
