Overview
This is a temporary General Ledger Accountant role based in Slough. Client Details This temporary General Ledger Accountant role based in Slough is working for a global, FTSE 100 business with a large Finance function. Description This temporary General Ledger Accountant based in Slough will involve the following responsibilities: Maintenance of general ledger accounts including month end balance sheet reconciliations, i.e. prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, others. Maintaining bank accounts, preparing payments and reconciling bank transactions Significant involvement with the month end process. Intercompany recharge management. Support in the preparation of budgets, rolling forecasts & estimates. Ensuring strict compliance with financial & business controls required by the Division/Group and external auditors. Support remediation on internal and external audit deficiencies Profile The successful candidate for this General Ledger Accountant position will need to have the following skills: SAP experience essential Immediately available Prior GL accounting experience Able to work to tight deadlines Job Offer This is a temporary role with car parking on site. Hours are 9:00 - 5:30pm (flexi hours are not provided).
