Overview
Your Purpose as HR Generalist As HR Generalist your purpose is to create a culture of excellence, creating the conditions for helping people be their 'best' selves. This means we need a high energy 'people person' to support and cultivate our coaching culture, vision and values. Your role is to help facilitate the development and growth of our European business, of around 100 people. Your primary role is responsible for the hands-on execution of the day to day HR function and management of the entire employee lifecycle. The Role as HR Generalist The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for Managers and employees throughout the business, providing full scope of employment topics including but not limited to Employee Relations, HR Policies, Recruitment, On-boarding, Performance Development, Benefits Administration etc. Key responsibilities HR Generalist: · Act as the go-to person and trusted advisor to our European management teams and employees; providing advice and guidance on how to achieve high levels of employee engagement that drive exceptional performance and capability. Manage and maintain our employer brand both internally and externally, using Glassdoor and any other appropriate social media platforms. Support and advise the office managers in benefits reviews and keep updated on any market trends. Maintain the HR system and produce key figures or reports as required e.g. monthly sickness reports. Update ISMS KPI's and work with the management team to ensure these are aligned with the business needs. Manage the day to day responsibilities of HR function to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee lifecycle experience by: Working with the Talent Acquisition Manager to conduct HR interviews. Oversee and ensure we deliver effective on-boarding programmes across the business units. Oversee and manage 3- and 6-month performance/probation reviews, including analysing trends and outcomes of 360 feedback. Manage all employee relations issues, supporting and guiding management in best practice. Work with HR administration to ensure ongoing development of employee policies & procedures. Work with our compliance team to ensure HR policies are up to date with the ISMS and support our ISO27001 accreditation. Drive and advise on bi-annual Performance Coaching reviews. Support Chief People Officer and HR Director in day to day administrative tasks. Conduct Ad-hoc salary reviews to provide guidance and support to line managers. Work with HR Support to ensure delivery our Employee Wellbeing reviews, analyse and communicate findings and make recommendations. Support with the creation of training programmes and content that support employee development outcomes. Manage employee endings to ensure a positive experience and conduct exit interviews to provide feedback to the business. Your Experience: Extensive experience working in a small HR function and have a willingness to be hands-on, get things done and be involved in everyday HR operational activities. · ER experience including advising on disciplinary and grievance issues with the ability to apply the relevant legal principles and risk assessment. · Highly organised with the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail. Experience advising management teams on the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition, through to performance management/coaching. Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial and constantly changing environment. · Along with a relevant HR qualification, you will need to be able to demonstrate solid experience working as an HR generalist, ideally within the Software Industry. · People focused, interpersonal, able to build relationships and gain trust quickly. · Sound judgement and awareness of when to escalate and seek guidance. · Experience of working with cloud-based HR systems/databases desirable (Cezanne HR preferable). · Proactive and resourceful, able to prioritise own workload and provide solutions to problems.
