Overview
Gibbs Hybrid require a dynamic and experienced Wireless Specialist with extensive experience of Cisco Wireless networking, design and implementation. You must have previously been involved in Cisco SDA implementations and understand the differences between traditional WiFi versus SDA deployments as well as understand 802.11 protocol and standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 802.11i, 802.11k, 802.11v). This is initially a consulting engagement to assist the Gibbs Hybrid Managed Services Team in the creation of conceptual SDA services, documentation and pricing of SD Access led milestones and deliverables based services. This project is outside of IR35 and is purely milestone driven/service structured. Essential • Extensive experience in Cisco wireless networking, design and implementation. • Have experience in at least 1 Cisco SDA implementation • Understand the differences in traditional WiFi v/s SDA deployments. • Solid understanding of 802.11 protocol and standards - 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 802.11i, 802.11k, 802.11v • Experience in Fabric enabled WLC & AP on-boarding • Design and troubleshooting wireless networks for data, voice and location services • Cisco Unified Wireless Network architecture and hands-on knowledge for deployment of Cisco wireless LAN controllers and APs • Cisco wireless LAN controller High Availability (HA) and Redundancy techniques ie N1, NN, SSO • Cisco Mobility Express, Cisco Flexconnect and Office Extend deployments • Qualification - CCNP Wireless or equivalent Click Apply now to be considered for the Wireless Specialist opportunity
