Overview

Head of Engineering – Wireless Networking – Expanding ISP that focusses on providing enterprise wireless connectivity using a range of vendors including Cisco Meraki – Ruckus – Huawei for wireless along with Cisco on the core IP MPLS network. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for a engineering team that currently provides all pre-sales, high level and low level design of all Wireless and wired solutions. This includes designs for Wifi and cabling in MDU, outdoor PTMP/PTP and WiFi/cabling is MOD/enterprise/SMB environments for 50-5000 users. Part of the role is expanding the team through the recruitment of further engineering team members to cater to the raid customer growth. The team is a mixture of customer facing (pre-sales) and others are more technical and responsible for delivering the low level design ready for implementation. Being the Head of Engineering you would also carry full responsibility of for people management, dept budget, growth/scaling, prioritisation of activities between Sales and Project office and assisting the CTO with strategic objectives and product development. My client is a technology focussed company and are using automation and AI in there product deployments and operations.
