Salary: Grade 8, £28,785 - £32,029 per annum (newly qualified), Grade 9, £32,878 - £36,876 per annum

Overview

Providing care coordination, support and advice to people with complex mental health conditions. Candidates will work as part of a well-established team to deliver the best possible service to our customers and promote their wellbeing. Ensure a high level of competent performance and a focus on the best possible outcomes for service users. A high level of skill in the assessment of need and risk as well as risk management will be necessary. Effective communication with users, carers and services providers and other professionals will be integral to the role. Good IT skills are now seen as a core skill in this work. Experience of working with individuals who have complex mental health conditions and disorders would be preferred, although not essential, as long as the professional skills attained are transferable. An Approved Mental Health Professional qualification is desirable, there would be an expectation that if successful non AMHP qualified candidates undertake this training when felt appropriate by management. Support and safeguard vulnerable people, including safeguarding investigations and a working knowledge of deprivation of liberty requirements {DOLS} would be desirable. Ability to work as part of a team who regularly deal with challenging and difficult situations and the ability to support colleagues through these times and work constructively to obtain a positive outcome for all involved.
