Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager Job Type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 9 - 5 Salary Expectations: £35,000 bonuses (Negotiable, DOE) Location: South West London Start date: ASAP Industry: Real Estate/Construction My client is a London based private developer, owner and operator of bespoke high-end properties. They design and create extra-special properties across the UK and internationally. Over the past two decades they have gained a formidable reputation for delivering exceptional design and uncompromising quality. They are now actively seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their Finance Team to oversee the payables team of 3, ensuring all workflow of documentation is carried out in line with company procedures. Key Responsibilities: Management of Accounts Payable assistants and day to day work allocation Ensuring the workflow of all documentation through purchase ledger carried out in line with company procedures To provide point of contact with all creditors and team who may have queries regarding outstanding invoices / staff expenses Ensure correct coding of all invoices Assist with Bank reconciliations Processing of payment runs and transfers, and authorisation of online payments Ensure correct treatment of VAT & CIS Take responsibility of cyclical supplier’s statement reconciliations, and query resolution Maintenance of Supplier records, ensuring all supplier record data is amended on timely basis Ensure that the department is covered for holidays and sickness of staff Other: Reporting Aged Creditors, KPI, Assisting Finance team Key Skills: Previous Accounts Payable Management Experience Confident and accurate in the use of computerised finance systems Strong Excel knowledge Basic understanding of VAT rules relating to purchases Excellent communication skills, confident in both verbal and written High level of interpersonal skills Strong team player with positive can-do attitude and hands on approach Preferable: Construction Industry Experience Xero CIS If you’re interested and would like to discuss this role in more detail, then I would love to hear from you.
