Multi Trade Builder/Mobile Fabric Engineer Central London & surroundings £28-32k depending on experience Van mobile provided Available immediately We are recruiting for a Multi Trade Builder to work on behalf of our client The client has an enviable portfolio of clients that they look after from; reactive repairs and maintenance, HVAC and electrical also They are seeking an additional member to their team who will report into the Mobile Fabric Manager Advising them of job updates, clients feedback and jobs that require attention and any deadlines that may not be met They are seeking a good all rounder with a wealth of sound & varied skills who has a great work ethic, excellent standard of work and happy working at multi sites in the M25 arena Perhaps you have run your own business within this industry but now want to return to work for a company that can offer regular work, a great salary and a long term stable career with prospects Or want to move on in a bigger company that can offer lots of progression and projects to work on and manage For this role you will need to have a clean valid driving licence (if you have a valid DBS this would be an advantage) - although successful candidates will be required to pass DBS clearance to start the role Salary £30-32k circa & co vehicle and mobile phone will be offered Duties Hours- 8am-5pm (onsite) Working within central London and surrounding areas. Reactive maintenance works (multi skilled operatives required, Carpentry biased) Over 400 sites covered. Must be confident in the use of email software and use of CAFM applications as jobs are received via smartphone using Clik software (training will be provided) Knowledge of Health & Safety and completing DRA’s onsite. Need to be highly self-motivated, confident at lone working. Good communication skills are paramount as you will be dealing directly with the client on a daily basis. Working predominantly in Central London and the surrounding areas you will receive your jobs via app on smartphone and tablet. Works vary from day to day so a good all-round knowledge and skillset are essential. Below is a list of skills that are favourable for this position. (not all essential) Carpentry Basic Plumbing (changing toilet cisterns, siphons, taps etc) Painting/decorating Tiling (walls and floors)- this will be mainly small patch repairs. General groundworks (concreting, manhole cover replacement etc) Some works require the use of access equipment so current IPAF and or PASMA certification would be an advantage but not essential. Due to the location of the works this role would suit somebody who resides within the M25 with good knowledge of the London area. You would be expected to be onsite at first job of the day by 8am and on average you would be attending to 5-6 jobs a day (depending on what was required at each job). Some out of hours working may be required from time to time due to access restrictions in some buildings, these would be paid at an increased rate. Successful applicants would be required to complete a DBS check and a City of London Police check for access to certain buildings on the contract. A full UK driving License is essential (minimal points are acceptable). Successful candidate would undertake a 3-month probation period.
