Overview

Walters People are currently working with a marketing Leading Manufacturing organisation based in Bedfordshire for the recruitment of a Customer Services Manager. This role will be playing a pivotal role within the Supply Chain, looking after a team of 7 to ensure Customer Satisfaction and accurate order processing. Main Duties Manage the processing of all sales orders using the companies ERP system To continuously review all departments processes Implement and monitor performance related KPI structure for all essential activities within the department. Ensure all procedures in regards to exportation are adhered to, keeping concise records that demonstrate company compliance Close liaison with regards to stock allocation to orders to ensure service delivery to customers To work closely with other departments to ensure effective cross departmental co-operation To ensure pricing and returns are processed correctly To build relationships with Key Customers and Sales Managers Management of Customer Portals To carry out any other duties which may reasonably be expected/requested To develop the team so they can carry out their roles with the minimum of supervision To recruit new members of the team when required To carry out regular appraisals and 1-1 meetings To train all members of the team with the system and all ad hoc manual systems within the team- to be the Super User for Customer Service Skills Good understanding or ERP or MRP systems Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to motivate others Somebody who can work well independently but can also provide a good team-fit for the business and is capable at working cross-functionally with other departments Must have a professional and excellent telephone manner Good computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good knowledge of business processes and relationships Excellent customer care skills Able to complete all tasks within a given time frame Must Have Minimum of 3 years working/managing within a customer services role. Highly effective communicator comfortable presenting at all levels A strong team manager with demonstrable experience of key leadership competencies Ability to work to deadlines and follow instruction Reliable and punctual Good presentation and a courteous, professional manner High customer focus Excellent IT skills across Microsoft office applications is essential
