The Role: Working against tight time scales to raise contractors purchase orders using the company’s bespoke management system. Track financial totals of POs and report to finance manager. You will be responsible for assisting and delivering against team and individual performance targets whilst maintaining accurate financial records. The hours of work will be full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 17:30pm. Duties will include but not limited to: Raising purchase orders on the Celestra in-house management system Extensive use of Excel, at advanced level (Must understand pivot tables and macros) Dealing with high volumes of email and call queries from engineers, contractors and suppliers General office support to the finance department, scanning paperwork on to various systems Communicate with project teams, account managers, field operations and electrical supervisor to ensure that paperwork has been complete promptly and accurately Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the finance team To support with ad-hoc projects as instructed by the finance manager The successful candidate will have / be: The successful candidate must have experience of working in an office environment ideally within a finance function Financial awareness with immaculate attention to detail whilst being able to remain motivated and work off their own initiative Must have experience of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment Ability to build good working relationships A passion to drive to be involved in continuously improving processes and controls IT literate to an advanced level (MS Office Package) Self-motivated and ability to plan and prioritise high volumes of workload Excellent attention to detail
