Overview

2nd/3rd Line IT Support Analyst An IT Support Analyst with 2nd, and ideally some 3rd line support experience is required by a London based information services provider. This a business with about 250-300 staff based across 3 sites. The role mainly supports users in the UK and East Coast of the United States and has responsibility for mentoring another member of the IT team. Please note that this is 12 month fixed term contract. In this 2nd/3rd Line IT Support role, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: Providing support for approximately 250-300 users via phone, remote and desktop support Manage, mentor and delegate tasks to a 1st Line Support Analyst Interface between service desk and infrastructure Administration and maintenance tasks for the server environment - patching, updates, anti-virus Managing user permissions, groups, profiles and new/deleted accounts via Active Directory Building new PC’s/Images Maintain desktop AV and security Participate in IT projects or 3rd Line IT support To be a suitable candidate for this role, you will need the following experience and skills: Experience in a similar 2nd Line, Desktop or IT support role, ideally with some 3rd line exposure Demonstrable experience administering elements of the server environment - Windows 2012 or 2016 Server Managing accounts, permissions, groups and policies with Active Directory Managing mailboxes via MS Exchange 2010 or 2016 Building and imaging PC’s/Laptops, ideally with WDS Experience managing and deploying AV and desktop security policies. Mimecast would be highly desirable Experience managing, mentoring or supervising would also be a distinct benefit CB Resourcing operates as both an employment agency and an employment business.
