Overview
Assistant Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer or Technician required for a leading residential housing design team. Do you already work for an established house builder, engineering consultant, utilities specialist, contractor or local government involved in infrastructure and residential design? We are working will a well respected housing developer looking to appoint a Civil Engineer, Assistant Engineer or Engineering CAD Technician with residential design and coordination experience. You will be involved with housing developments from design of sites, liaising with local authorities, site visits, CAD and adoptions and coordinating with consultants. Experience in road and sewers design, utilities, geo-technical and environmental issues would be a strong advantage. The job includes site visits during the various stages of construction, dealing with detail and building control submissions, health and safety and design issues for multiple sites. Previous residential housing project experience is essential but this could have been gained with another house builder design team, engineering consultant, utilities specialist or engineering contractor. Equally if you have design experience gained with a client or local authority perspective would also be of interest. A knowledge of section agreements, AutoCAD, drainage, residential infrastructure design. HNC or degree qualified in civil engineering or similar Salary to reflect your design and residential experience, circa £25,000 to £35,000 plus car/bonus initially with scope for future promotion to Design Engineer level.
