A privately owned pub located in North Yorkshire is seeking to employ a Sous Chef Role: A country pub based in a village position that operates a separate restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to work in the team of three in the kitchen.The pub is hoping to achieve one AA Rosette status in the near future for its seasonal, fresh menus that incorporate plenty of Yorkshire produce into the dishes as well as a daily specials board that concentrates on fish dishes.In this role of Sous Chef you will be cooking for 60 covers for lunch and dinner with the expectation that you will be capable of running service times in the absence of the Head Chef. Requirements: It is important that all Sous Chefs applying for this role have been working in a property accredited with at least one AA Rosette in their most recent position.The ability to work well within a small team with the knowledge to work across the sections is essential.
