Export Sales Engineer / Manager
Overview
Our client are a global leader in the field of development supplying quality metrology instruments throughout the world and they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Export Sales Engineer or Manager to join their team. As Export Sales Engineer you will be a results orientated sales professional who can deliver success and exceed sales budgets. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Director, your key responsibilities will include: Plan and implement export sales strategy Manage and effectively communicate with existing Distributors on adaily basis Review existing distributor performance and set distributor targets Development of new distributors in Countries not currently represented Meet regular sales targets and analyse product performance Provide pre-sales support to distributors Monitor, record, analyse and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to export activities Review distribution contracts as required to enable effective trading To be successful in the role of Export Sales Engineer or Manager you will possess the following qualities: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a Mechanical Engineering background Metrology experience / background would be a distinct advantage Experienced sales professional with proven account management and commercial skills – Export experience would be highly advantageous Relatable experience in building new business through export distribution is preferable Demonstrable experience in sales growth Experience in product installations and customer / distributor training would be an advantage This position is based in West Sussex and is easily accessible from Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crawley, Horsham, Hassocks, Maresfield, Uckfield and East Sussex.
