Job Description: We are currently looking for a new Export Coordinator to join our Logistics team based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Remuneration Salary - high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package. Other duties may be assigned: Managing accounts for customers, distributors and hubs for shipments despatched from the Gargrave/Mawdsley DC to over 70 countries globally. Making bookings with freight suppliers Liaising with various internal departments, particularly various Customer Care groups and the DC Operations team. Excellent communication skills, as the team deal with people globally in multi time lines Ensuring customer focus at all times. Able to work under pressure, particularly at month ends. Flexibility and the ability to multi task. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work successfully in a small team, and able to go between filing and freight negotiations seamlessly. Transportation knowledge, particularly international, an advantage Understanding of regulatory requirements in a medical device environment Understanding of global trade compliance requirements Qualifications 5 A-C's GCSE/equivalent Previous experience of working within an export/logistics/regulatory/quality environment Good Communication Skills (All levels of business and externally) Excellent Attention to detail Flexible attitude Team player Comprehensive knowledge of international exporting and shipping requirements Experience of working in a warehouse/distribution environment Computer Literacy eg Microsoft Office, Oracle Working at 3M Unleash your potential.
