Purchase Ledger Assistant S9 1BT Attractive Salary - £20,000 37.5 hours per week FLEXI TIME OFFERED Introduction My Client is a market leader in there field, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their existing Finance Team which is built up of Assistant Accountant, Credit Control Assistant, Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Assistant. From 2pm each day, you will also be required to cover Reception duties. It is expected that from 2pm each day, Reception duties are quiet so this will enable you to resume your Purchase Ledger duties. A day in this role Experience using Navision will be a significant advantage for this role, and the ability to manage utilities (such as submitting meter readings, and paying utility bills). The Purchase Ledger Assistant is responsible for opening new accounts on Navision. Registering and posting invoices on Nav. Raising payments which are then made by Assistant Accountant. Verifying sub-contractors on the HMRC website. Vender statement reconciliation including Schneider. Raising purchase orders when required. Dealing with payment queries over the phone and via email. Dealing with reminders and overdue letters. General support for the Accounts team. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:45-5. Flexibility is available on the start time for the right person, but the client will need someone working until 5pm Company Benefits 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45-5 with 45-minute lunch The use of flexitime 2x salary death in service benefit company match 5% pension contributions after 3 months option of Westfield Health at level 1 after 3 months Monthly paid (20th of the month) 33 days annual leave (Inc. banks) Skills and experience required Use of Navision Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an outstanding Company who are very stable.
