Overview
Rocasa Consulting are recruiting a Independent Living Advisor in Bristol for 2 months temporary Assignment paying up to £12.00ph via umbrella service working 30 hours per week covering 2 sites in Bristol working Mon - Fri - 9.00am - 3.00pm. To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of in the provision of older person’s services and excellent communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues and residents. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach and possess the ability to work without close supervision. Effective decision making skills, a diplomatic and confidential approach and having the ability to prioritise your workload are also key requirements of this position. You will be responsible for supporting residents to maximise their independence and maintain their tenancies. You will also actively promote and build community resilience through the delivery of scheme based and local community activities which encourage resident involvement and engagement and responds to the growing risk of elderly and/or vulnerable isolation. You will need a Current DBS Check and ideally UK Driving licence and access to a or own transport.
