Overview
Our client is a Challenger Bank who provide specialist business banking solutions to the UK SME market. As they prepare to grow the business further, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter to help shape, manage and build the Asset Finance Underwriting function within the business. This role will be predominantly office based from their offices in Milton Keynes, however will involved going out to see customers from time to time. The role of a Senior Underwriter: As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for building and managing the Underwriting team as well as the end-to-end underwriting process and when necessary representing at Credit Comittees. Requirements of the Senior Underwriter: Previous experience within Asset Finance - hard assets Experience in a relevant managerial role within Underwriting/Credit/Risk Management Willingness, aptitude and gravitas to be a key member of a growing business Good financial analysis skills for SMEs and Corporates Team player Why Should You Apply?
