Job Description

Milton Keynes Theatre department consists of 12 theatres and 2 recovery areas over two sites within the hospital rated GOOD by the CQC. We cover a range of specialities including trauma and orthopaedic, general surgery, breast, ENT and ophthalmology. We are a Level 2 trauma centre An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified senior theatre practitioner to move into the next stage of their perioperative career. This is an opportunity to lead and manage our emergency surgery team, role modelling high standards of care and excellent leadership and communication skills. The role sits within a team of senior team leaders working alongside the Matron and Operational Manager to provide a high quality patient experience whilst optimising theatre capacity and utilisation. The successful candidate will demonstrate the skills required to work alongside clinical colleagues at all levels to develop this growing speciality service.
