Full-time, Permanent Job Role: IT Administrator Department: IT Location: Plumstead About Changing Lives Housing Trust At Changing Lives Housing Trust,we believe in equality and that no one should be left behind hence, we pride ourselves in supporting clients facing homelessness by working alongside the local councils within the boroughs we operate in to decrease the impact of homelessness and to increase social advantage within the community through providing housing related support and guidance. The Role Act as a single point of contact for telephone, email, self-service portal and walk-ups from staff regarding IT issues and queries, resolving straight forward problems at first contact and escalating more complex requests as appropriate. Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Office 365 and any other authorised desktop applications. Be able to prioritise your workload and politely communicate priority to the users. Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of desktop applications and networking problems. Support telephony systems (Hardware and Software) and all desktop hardware (laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, mobile phones etc.) Update records regularly of all IT hardware. Maintain and fully manage Active Directory/Azure AD and GSuite portals. Ability to think and work independently, and as part of a team and to take responsibility. Key Skills Proven experience performing 1st/2nd line support within a Service Desk Environment. Minimum of 1-year experience working in an end-user facing support role. Experience providing support to remote users over the phone. Experience maintaining MDM with GSuite & JAMF Now. Knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365 Apps (SharePoint Specifically). Cisco Meraki Maintenance (Routers, Firewalls, Access Points) and extended knowledge of networking. Strong technical knowledge with security applications and capability to write security policies. (We use ESET management system). Desirable Microsoft certified ITIL certified Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP Basic understanding of LAN technologies
