Overview

A fantastic opportunity to join a specialist provider of residential services to children who have emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. You will be managing a home in High Wycombe which provides therapeutic, long-term care to 3 children with complex backgrounds, who have suffered trauma. The home has recently been completely refurbished and redecorated to very high standards. Role and responsibilities As a Registered Manager you will bring your enthusiasm of putting children in your care at the centre of everything you do to successfully manage a children’s home in accordance to Ofsted standards. You will evolve a skilled and compassionate staff team which will provide first class support to improve the life opportunities of disadvantaged children who have experienced trauma. You will be supported by an extremely approachable and experienced Regional Manager and Regional Director, along with a network of other Home Managers in the region. Your service will be underpinned by a dedicated clinical team consisting of psychologists, therapists and specialist advisors to provide the best possible therapeutic care. The children in your care will receive education in the organisation’s specialist school. Candidate requirements A minimum of two year’s experience of working at Deputy or Home Manager level in a home for children with emotional behavioural difficulties. Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare / Leadership & Management of Children and Young People's services Car driver An excellent working knowledge of Ofsted Regulations.
