Overview
Role: Reporting Developer Location: Redhill 6 Month Contract Daily Rate: Competitive Role and Responsibilities: Interact with business stakeholders, analysts and developers to scope, design, test and deliver data solutions, based on business reporting requirements. Attend project related meetings on behalf of the MI team, providing clear and consist updates to your direct line manager. Present progress and final solutions to the MI develop team. Maintenance of existing data solutions. Perform data discrepancy resolution. Skills and Experience: PowerBI and SSRS, and writing DAX queries. Experience building ETL's and reports in a SQL/HQL based environment Ability to translate complex business requirements into reporting logic Experience of transforming transactional data into business reports, including requirements gathering, mapping, development, testing and deployment Hands-on experience of building data visualisations and designing dashboards within a BI Visualisation tool Understanding of distributed computing, parallel processing and the Hadoop Ecosystem Experience of Spark/Java/Oozie/Spotfire/Tableau/XML - desirable Additional Requirements: Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship Industry experience: Financial Services - essential, Insurance - desirable Please review the advert in full.
