The ICT Reporting Finance Manager will be joining our Trading Partner Finance team. The Trading Partner Finance "Intercompany Profit Team" is responsible for tracking and eliminating intercompany profit as well as generating statutory information for the consolidated group accounts. The team provide a global service working across LOCs, GMS, Corporate Finance and Trading Partner Finance. As the ICT Reporting Finance Manager you will be accountable for the delivery, completeness and accuracy of the monthly actual process in the ICT system. Your responsibilities will include some of the following: * Accountability of the financial impact of network changes on the ICT system, full comprehension and consideration of the linkages into the local ledger accounting of entities and corporate accounting in Bison - resulting in the clearing account impact being balanced. Therefore understanding of GSK's financial reporting environment and the financial systems used is essential. * Stakeholder management and representation of ICT Reporting in project forums, recurring network change forums and overall connection into the multiple network changes occurring * Creation, development and deployment of the process and framework for the approach and implementation of network changes in ICT reporting * Creating, developing and deployment of processes that root cause issues with the clearing account and drive the resolution of these across the team and the business, this could be ERP fixes, process changes, training or accounting instructions - therefore knowledge of GSK E2E trading, system and finance models is key. * Ownership of the Inter-company Profit reporting process, liaising with Corporate Reporting team to agree the month-end timetable and providing global communications on requirements and timings. * Management of the monthly review of Entity Submissions: Review of submission completeness by global entities, eTrading Partner Financelating as appropriate to ensure 100% of submissions are received * Analysis of volume rejection at month-end and follow-up with global entities to resolve within reporting deadlines * Manage the Production and validation of the volume mismatch reports for distribution at quarter and year end. * Responsible for the review and approval of all Inter-Company Profit related BISON journals raised by global entities at month end, ensuring journals are appropriately supported and Remedy tickets for ICT resolution are raised. * Post month-end review of BISON journals to 'root cause' and remediate in ICT for the following reporting period * Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the ICT system and be able to support global customers/users on all system and inter co profit related matters * Review and investigation of ICT 'Clearing Account' at month-end, liaising with global entities and Corporate Reporting to resolve reporting errors and maintain within agreed thresholds * Responsibility for creating and maintaining a robust controls framework for ICT reporting and delivering full compliance with GSK Finance policy and Sarbox controls * Provide accurate and periodic metrics for communication to key stakeholders measuring the accuracy and efficiency of the ICT Reporting process. Basic Qualifications : The job holder needs to be tenacious and have a strong performance mindset - driving for results through an understanding of drivers of the business and has an ability to focus on the things that make a difference and get things done. To achieve this the job holder needs to have: * In depth knowledge of GSK finance environment across local ledger expertise, Bison and ICT and the complexities within each * Understanding of GSK approach to large projects and network changes, experience of this and the dealing with the financial impacts * CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent * Knowledge and experience of GSK Supply Chain and inter-company profit systems and processes * Expert level problem solving ability. * Ability to work across global GSK organisations. * Ability to manage senior stakeholders across GSK * Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex supply chain issues and understand the impact on inter-company profit of any changes Why GSK?
