The Princess Royal College of Animal Management and Saddlery has a well-established reputation for delivering high-quality courses, with extensive animal collections at 5 sites across Greater London including city farms, zoo licenced and BALAI listed collections. Capel’s course tutors all have exceptional skills with extensive knowledge and experience of the animal management and leathercraft industries. Capel Manor College has a truly unique and prestigious leathercraft offer supporting the historic UK Saddlery and Footwear industries and is the only college in Europe to offer a full-time Saddlery course supported by the Worshipful Livery Companies. Our Animal Management and leathercraft courses give young people and adults the opportunity to gain nationally and internationally recognised qualifications from entry-level to Bachelor Degree with the prospect of progressing to further study, higher education, employment or starting their own business venture whilst learning in a unique and supportive environment. The successful candidate will lead, develop, manage and co-ordinate the development and delivery of high quality, cost-effective curriculum area which progresses towards and achieves the College’s Strategic and Operational objectives in the curriculum area. The post holder will have professional leadership skills, be a strategic thinker, have outstanding communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with regulatory bodies and awarding bodies The ideal candidate will be innovative and have strong links to industry, with extensive knowledge of the curriculum specialisms offered within Animal Management and Saddlery. They will be expected to contribute fully to the collective delivery of the College’s strategy.
