Overview
Expanding FMCG business based on the outskirts of Bradford within commutable distance from Leeds and Wakefield currently require a Financial Controller to join their business at a very interesting time for the organisation. Due to recent PE funding this newly created role will play a key part in the growth of not just the finance team but the wider business as a whole. Initially duties will include: -Full control and overview of the monthly accounts reporting directly to the Managing Director showing trends and assessing issues. -Oversee a team of CIMA/ACCA studying/qualified management accountants/financial accountants. -Liaise with senior stake holders reporting budgets ensuring business objectives are achieved. -Monthly board pack, collating and delivering to the board. -Building solid working relationships with external auditors, banks and investors. - HMRC reporting including monthly UK and Irish VAT returns, submissions, PAYE, and corporation tax quarterly payments on account. Ideally you will be: -CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified -Experienced within a senior Financial Controller/Finance Manager position -Able to demonstrate a proven track record of success within their career to date preferably within FMCG or similar fast paced sectors. -Strong communicator, previous experience at senior finance business partner level.
