Overview
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a growing firm based in the Bradford area on a newly created, exciting opportunity for an experienced, capable & driven Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team. Duties will include: Act as the lead on the statutory accounts production, with guidance and support from the Financial Accountant, Financial Controller and Group Finance on inputs etc. Manage the accounts for a number of entities, and look at automating and driving efficiencies with this process Support the Financial accountant with all compliance-related activities including audit and tax, producing the monthly PSA returns and supporting with VAT returns Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and TB production Posting of standard journals, e.g. accruals, recharges Posting and reconciliation of fixed assets nominal accounts, e.g. depreciation Support the Financial Accountant with other monthly activities Produce weekly cash flow forecasts alongside the Financial Accountants Support the Financial Control team and Reporting team with other developments and ad-hoc work as required Our client are looking to make a quick appointment to this position so to avoid disappointment please do not delay your application.
