Overview
Elevation Qualified Finance are working closely with a large Plc in West Yorkshire who are looking to expand their finance team. This role is a key one within the finance team and you will be supporting a number of key areas across finance, including areas across commercial finance, systems, month end, statutory reporting and ad-hoc reporting. This role is not for the faint-hearted - there is lots to do and it needs someone who is willing to go the extra mile, as the role will be quite challenging at times, as it is helping the client realign work between the various teams, so will require someone with drive and resilience. There will be some work to do on month end journals, analysis, balance sheets etc., as well as some ad-hoc analysis and systems support. Our client is looking for a very hands on person for this role, with good technical skills and who is systems savvy. You will have very strong Excel skills (at least basic knowledge of macros). Ideally you will have some experience of financial control work, as well as financial planning and analysis work.
