About the role You will assist the Financial Accountant in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and ensure that all income, expenditure, assets and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed. You will assist with the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory reports, internal and external audits, and the Financial Statements within agreed timetables. Alongside these duties, you will also: Processes journals and ensuring that all accounting entries are supported by working papers for review and audit. Carry out month end balance sheet reconciliations and assist with balance sheet reporting. Assist with the maintenance of strong financial controls. Support and assist with cover across the wider Financial Reporting team to manage team absences and peak periods. Assist with liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies. Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory returns Reconcile accounts and investigate differences. About you You will be CCAB qualified or part qualified accountant actively studying towards a CCAB accounting qualification. You will have knowledge of financial reporting standards, strong financial control and knowledge of financial reporting. You will have a high degree of attention to detail coupled with the ability to see the bigger picture alongside strong technical skills financial reporting and control.
