Role specifics: This role is to support the Group Reporting Team deliver efficient, accurate, timely and high quality submission of internal and external reporting outputs, including statutory and US reporting. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to ; - The individual will be a key point of contact for the US Financial Reporting Team. The individual will play an active role in management of this stakeholder, including identifying and responding to their needs - On time and high quality delivery of consolidated financials within the European group to the US stakeholder - Play a key role in the integration business and finance transformation, and system simplification projects. - Support of the statutory and US audit process, working with key SME's and stakeholders within the wider Finance function, to deliver on-time and in a cost efficient manner - Perform technical accounting considerations for New Business opportunities and prepare accounting papers for executive sign-off and external audit, on both a UK and US accounting standards basis The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and expertise; - 2:1 degree level or above - ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified - Knowledge of Insurance Accounting principles - US GAAP Knowledge To review the full list of responsibilities and requirements, please download the job description which can be found on our careers website The call to action: At Assurant, we’re very big on supporting you to be the best you can be.
