Overview

Customer Support Manager Based in Hitchin c£40k plus £2k annual bonus We are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Manager, based in the Hitchin office. We are looking for someone to lead our team of Customer Support Coordinators and play a cohesive role within the supply chain, by achieving department objectives and KPI’s. You will also look for opportunities to deliver process improvements for enhanced efficiencies and effectiveness, whilst ensuring you and your team deliver the highest standard of customer service. COME AND JOIN US: YOU’RE TASKS Lead, manage, guide and develop the Customer and Technical Support teams Establish metrics, method of measurement and reporting for the team in order to constantly challenge and improve Customer satisfaction Continually monitor order and sales volumes, to determine efficient resource allocation and adjust this accordingly so that the ‘Best Customer Experience’ commitments are met at all times Establish strong relationships with the Sales and Operations teams and establish seamless processes, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for the Customer Analyse and report on all customer service activities Encourage a vital and productive atmosphere, building a motivated team and developing the quality of the staff in this field through positive mentoring and training Ensure that the Company guidelines / policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to across the department WE PUT TRUST IN YOU: YOU’RE SKILLS Previous experience of managing a team in a customer support / service environment, in line with the Company policies and procedures Demonstrable experience of working co-operatively with others, creating and maintaining a team spirit within and across functions to achieve a common goal Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate to all levels of audiences Excellent customer service skills A knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage Technical mind-set with a great attention to detail WHAT YOU CAN TRUST IN: A FULFILLING WORKPLACE Competitive Salary and Bonus Scheme 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays SMART Pension Scheme Support for your healthcare needs- plus access to an Employee Assistance Programme including counselling and legal support Paid Sickness Life Insurance Discounts with a number of retailers, including exclusive discounts on local gym memberships, car garages and hotels.
