Overview

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Supervisor to join our Engineering Team. Tate & Lyle Sugars are Europe’s leading supplier of cane sugar products and ingredients. We have been in business for over 140 years specialising in sugars and syrups produced from sugar cane. In October 2010, American Sugar Holdings (ASR Group) acquired the EU sugar refining businesses of Tate & Lyle PLC, namely Tate & Lyle Sugars in the UK and Sidul in Portugal. RESPONSIBIITIES: You will be working with the Maintenance Team Manager to optimise plant performance and maintenance activities by providing effective management for a team of Maintenance Technicians and a broad range of contract staff where necessary. Plan, schedule and agree daily/weekly workloads with the Maintenance Team Manager, incorporating preventative, planned and reactive activities Manage all planned and reactive E/I and mechanical maintenance activities including cleaning, optimising available resources and contractors to ensure expedient, high quality repairs and servicing Ensure regular and consistent communication to teams and individuals through meetings and briefing sessions Work with their team to initiate and deliver CI and other projects to improve plant reliability Provide cost estimates for improvement projects and generate capital requests for these projects managing all costs when authorised ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES Relevant experience maintenance within an automated continuous process environment Multi-skilled across a range of engineering trades EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Preferably an HNC/ NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
