A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to work with a global, leading media agency has just landed. They Analise data in order to enhance marketing strategies across the weird and wonderful world of media. The Accounts Payable position is sat within a new team who are all new to the business as an effect of their growth. The position offers great scope to develop as well as the opportunity to grow with what is an aspirational and highly respected business. As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be switched on and inquisitive with a minimum of 3 years’ experience handling the purchase ledger function. You will take ownership of the accounts payable function and report directly in to the Finance Manager. With their trendy offices and creative team culture this would suit someone looking to work with a creative, fast paced and progressive company with ambitious growth plans. What will I be doing? Fully manage and reconcile the purchase ledger; Prepare Payment Runs and action in line with agreed payment timetables Process expense claim payments, expenses and credit card transactions Actively suggest areas that could be improved in order to increase efficiency Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register Monthly supplier statement reconciliation Ensure purchase order approvals are governed and reviewed for accuracy Resolve any business and supplier queries within 48 hours of receipt Who would this role be suitable for? Ideally a minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience ideally gained creative/fast paced company Ability to work to deadlines and handle high volume Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong Excel Skills Outgoing with a team player approach Due to the high volume of applications received, regrettably only successful candidates will be contacted
