Aston Charles are delighted to have been engaged by this small, yet perfectly-formed, independent Lloyd’s broker that seeks to add additional expertise to its high-performing technical broking team. Reporting into the Binding Authority Director, you’ll provide a significant contributiion to the achievement of internal objectives by accurately and efficiently handling the administration of premium payments, statements and bordereaux, and the processing of new business and renewals in line with agreed terms and conditions. Working on a 3 day week with the flexibility to work from home too you’ll primarily handle North American Financial Lines, and also some Global Medical Malpractice business, you’ll be responsible for processing MRC contracts onto Global and the subsequent submission into the IMR system. You’ll also be comfortable producing closings, monitoring payment terms and producing market documentation, when required. In rare, quiet periods, there may be a requirement to assist with binder and lineslip processing, and therefore any experience in this field would be most advantageous. It is essential that you’re able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar London Market role, where you will have gained experience of working within the market’s specialist procedures, protocols and systems. Knowledge of IMR, Global and Atlas would be ideal, alongside experience of processing North American Financial Lines business.
