Overview

Network Engineer - SC cleared - Cisco - LAN - WAN What skills you'll need LAN/WLAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network locations. Technical knowledge of Cisco products and technologies (Catalyst 37xx, 38xx Switches, VSS, ASA, WLAN) as well as advanced network routing, switching and load balancing technologies. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, QoS, layer 2 and layer 3 VLANS, Concepts include, but not limited to, BGP, OSPF, RIP, HSRP, NAT. Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, UPS, etc. Router, Switch and IP configuration experience. Knowledge of security concepts and technologies, mainly Cisco ASA Firewalls. Experience deploying and configuring virtual networks and routing paths in an Azure cloud environment. Proven track record with successful deployment of small-medium- scale network projects on time to quality from a resource, task and technical perspective.
