" Role Profile telent are seeking a Network Design Engineer with experience in IP based networks covering multiple technologies. You will need to be highly experienced in producing high- and low-level network designs of the highest quality, ensuring security is of the highest standard. Preferably with experience gained within the power generation industry or a similar environment. Typical Deliverables \t * Produce high-level and low-level designs according to customer requirements \t * Assist installation design engineers in producing detailed schematics \t * Produce test and verification processes to verify the designs produced \t * Produce as-built documentation at the point of installation/commissioning \t * Advise on maintenance and support of the delivered designs Essential Skills and Qualifications \t * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) \t * Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) \t * Strong experience in Networking design and delivery in both lab and production environments with practical experience of the following: \t * TCP/IP, subnetting, QoS, routing, SDN, VRFs, VLANs, VPCs and security \t * Routers, switches, firewalls - Palo Alto & FortiGate \t * IP routing protocols: BGP, OSPF \t * Network and operating systems security principles \t * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \t * Work to ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 standards \t * IP TV distributions and Electronic signage Excellent benefits: (IF OUTSIDE IR35) As a contractor working with telent you can expect to receive: \t * PAYE or Limited Company contractor options \t * Weekly Pay \t * A designated team to help you with your queries Excellent benefits: (IF INSIDE IR35 & PAYE IS ONLY OPTION) As a contractor working with telent you can expect to receive: \t * PAYE Direct payroll \t * PAYE Benefits; Accrued holiday pay and telent pension contribution etc. \t * Weekly Pay \t * A designated team to help you with your queries So why choose telent for your next opportunity? \t * To build, run and maintain a successful network, you need a connected approach - a team you can trust from strategy to support, and everything in between.
